Understand What Anger Really Is
Most people get anger wrong. This course reveals the biblical truth: anger isn't a neutral emotion or a tool you need—it's a sin that destroys relationships, finances, and your spiritual life. You'll finally understand why anger always feels justified, even when it shouldn't.
Identify Your Patterns (Not Just Your Triggers)
Anger doesn't appear out of nowhere. You'll trace generational and spiritual patterns behind your anger, learn the difference between an angry act and an 'angry spirit,' and discover how to break cycles that have affected your family for years.
Apply Practical Tools That Actually Work
This isn't theory, it's hands-on teaching from real-life case studies and biblical wisdom. You'll learn the ANGRY acrostic framework and the doctrine of replacement to gain real victory over anger and rebuild trust in your most important relationships.
About This Course
Anger is one of the most common yet least understood struggles in personal, family, and church life. In this course, you'll be introduced to a biblical framework for understanding what anger actually is, what it does, and how to be delivered from it, through hands-on teaching drawn from four in-depth sermons. The material covers key concepts around anger's deceptive nature, its cost, its spiritual dynamics, and practical steps toward lasting change. Current teaching pulls from real-life case studies, biblical word studies, and testimonies to give you hands-on ways to recognize and confront anger in your own life and home. Learners who complete this course will be equipped to identify, confront, and begin overcoming patterns of anger in themselves and in those they lead or parent. No previous study of the topic is necessary. By the end of this course, you can: ✓ Define what anger is and explain why it is biblically classified as sin rather than a neutral emotion or useful tool. ✓ Identify the five biblical metaphors used to describe how anger operates and destroys. ✓ Trace the generational and spiritual patterns behind chronic anger, including the difference between an angry act and an "angry spirit." ✓ Evaluate the true costs of anger, including relational, financial, and eternal consequences. ✓ Compare anger to patterns of demonic influence described in the Gospels, and understand why anger must be replaced, not just removed. ✓ Apply a practical step-by-step framework (the ANGRY acrostic and the doctrine of replacement) to begin gaining victory over personal anger.
